CHAGALL IN THE WORLD OVER

L’ingenuità di Chagall è solo libertà del segno. Egli coniuga con libertà di interpretazione basso e alto, logica e fantasia ponendosi in una posizione contraria ad ogni reale rappresentazione. “La pittura è una finestra dove spiccare il volo verso un altro mondo” dove il naturalismo lascia spazio alla fantasia ad un mondo nel quale “la polvere diventa la via lattea”; “noi trasportiamo ciò che possediamo, non ciò che vediamo”. Così racconta Marc Chagall (1887 - 1985) his "world upside down:" A man walking needs to be reflected in a contrast to emphasize its similar to his movement, "there is a vertical vessel, it must fall to prove its stability ".

The spirituality of his work is rooted in his Jewish roots as well as the folklore in his Russian origins. A revolutionary painting of the sign ruled by anarchy, which distorts the preset and the thought itself becomes a eulogy to the contrary. Il Museo dell’Ara Pacis di Roma ospita 138 opere tra dipinti e disegni, tra cui alcuni inediti, realizzati tra il 1917 e il 1982, provenienti da collezioni private, dal Musèe National d’Art Moderne Centre Georges Pompidou e dal Musèe National Marc Chagall di Nizza che ha ospitato da giugno ad ottobre 2010 la mostra Chagall il mondo sotto sopra, in occasione dell’anniversario dei 25 anni della sua morte. Una pittura certamente originale quella di Chagall che non nasconde i suoi riferimenti ai movimenti d’avanguardia del suo tempo e that combines poetry and imagination in a magical universe and anachronistic, and telling us about the melancholy joys of his humanity.
